Vertical Extension - 2026
A comprehensive vertical extension and renovation transforms this historic Upper East Side townhouse into a contemporary single-family residence while respecting the scale and architectural character of its surroundings. The project adds an entirely new sixth floor, increasing the home by nearly 1,200 square feet of new living space while creating a new rooftop amenity level and comprehensively modernizing the residence. The scope also includes structural modifications, interior reconfiguration, and integration of modern building systems, resulting in a light-filled home that thoughtfully balances historic context with contemporary design. ASTORIA
Full Renovation, 2025-26
A comprehensive renovation reimagines this detached Astoria two-family residence through a complete interior transformation while preserving the existing building envelope. The project introduces a new structural floor system, reconfigured circulation, modern building systems, and fully redesigned living spaces, creating two contemporary residences within the existing structure. By exposing and strengthening the original masonry shell before rebuilding from the inside out, the renovation extends the building’s life while respecting its neighborhood character. BROOKLYN HEIGHTS
Landmark Restoration, 2026
A sensitive exterior restoration preserves the architectural character of this historic Brooklyn Heights townhouse while addressing aging building elements for long-term durability. The project includes the repair of original brownstone details, restoration of historic wood windows and trim, selective masonry repairs, and coordination with the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission(LPC) to ensure that each intervention respects the building’s historic fabric. By combining traditional restoration techniques with contemporary construction practices, the project extends the life of the façade while maintaining its historic character.
